The Brief
皆さんにとって、小学校・中学校の思い出は何が浮かぶでしょうか？
卒業式、修学旅行、期末テストや受験、部活動、友達との他愛のないおしゃべりや恋愛、毎日の放課後…。学校は学習する場でもあり、生活する場でもあり、様々な経験を積む場でもあります。社会を生き抜く力を育み、子供たちの可能性を広げる学びの場は多くの機会をもたらしています。しかし、コロナ禍が急速に引き寄せた変化も相まって、その在り方も少しずつ進化しなければならない時代を迎えています。少し先の30年後の未来を想像したとき、その時代を生き抜く力や可能性を広げるためには何が必要とされるでしょうか。「コンピューターサイエンスの能力は必要だろうな。」「グローバルな語学力がなきゃダメでしょう。」「AIとは違う人間の想像力や思いやりこそ一番だ！」「副業が当たり前になっているはずだから…。」様々な考えが浮かぶのではないでしょうか。その皆さんの頭の中や心の中に思い描くものこそ、未来への学びをつくっていくための重要なヒントであると考えています。現在、GIGAスクール構想等により、オンラインツールの導入が進んでいる背景もあり、学びの形態を子供たち一人ひとりに最適化させることや特別な支援が必要な子供たちの可能性を大きく広げることが期待されています。しかし、そもそも個性に合わせた多様な学びの手法が広がれば、“特別な支援”という考え方自体が無くなるのかもしれません。未来のための学びには何が必要なのでしょうか。そして、誰が担っていく必要があるのでしょうか。文科省の方々？教育委員会の方々？学校の先生？ 本当にそれだけでしょうか。今までの枠を取り払い、様々なアプローチから生まれる、新たな学びの場を皆さんと考えたいと思います。

The Challenge
株式会社城南進学研究社では、ワクワクをキーワードに学校の勉強の理解を促進することを目指し、小中学生用オンライン学習教材「デキタス」を開発しました。デキタスは、パソコンやタブレット端末などを使用して授業動画を見たり、演習問題を解いたりして学習を進めるWEB学習システムです。教科書に合った授業や演習問題で、学校の勉強を自宅で、かつ自分のペースで自由に行えるのが特徴です。近年、「授業が良く分からない」「テストを受けたくない」など様々な事情により、学校に登校できない生徒様、または一般クラスで授業を受けることが出来ない生徒様が全国的に増加傾向にあります。例えば、デキタスでは、このような方々に向けて、それぞれ「個別学習計画」を作成し、「教室」以外の場でも本来の学習範囲の補修を提供することが出来ます。経済産業省の実施する学びと社会の連携促進事業（「未来の教室」（学びの場）創出事業）にも参画し、横浜市と協力して、その有効性を実証しました。
ただ一方で、生徒様にとって、先生にとって、保護者の皆さまにとって、もっと利用しやすいように改善できることがあるのではないかとも感じています。そして、根本的な学校に登校できない原因を取り除いてあげることや、そういった生徒様に限らず、自由な学びの場としても活用できる可能性があると感じています。加えて、デキタス以外の支援の形ということも当然存在するとも考えています。
ぜひ、学生の皆さんと未来のための学びに必要なことを考え、誰がどのような役割を持つべきなのか、そして、それを実行するためにはどのようなアプローチや方法が考えられるか、一緒に考えていきたいと思います。皆さんの自由な発想と当社の長年のノウハウを掛け合わせて、今までにない仕組みを考えましょう。
The Brief
What memories do you have of elementary and junior high school?
Graduation ceremonies, school trips, final exams and exams, extracurricular activities, casual chats with friends, romance after school ... School is a place to learn, a place to live, and a place to gain life's experiences.
It is also a place of learning that nurtures the ability to survive in society and expands the possibilities.
However, the corona crisis has transformed pedagogy.
Over the next 30 years we must ask what we need to sustain our societies. People come up with various ideas. Someone may think computer science skills are required. Someone may think that they need global language skills. Furthermore, some people may also think the human imagination and compassion that AI doesn’t have is required. Other people envisage second jobs would be more normal then.
We believe these ideas are important for improving education experiences.
Currently, the GIGA school concept, etc., helps us introduce online tools for the future of education.
It is expected that we make learning styles more suitable for individuals and we support kids who need special assistance.
However, if an individualized learning style becomes more common, we don't have to distinguish students who are normal and who need special assistance.
What do we need to learn for the future?
Who should have responsibility? People in the Ministry of Education? Members of the Board of Education?

The Background
Jonan Shingaku Kenkyusha was established in April 1961 as a comprehensive preparatory school for university entrance exams and crammer classes in Kawasaki.
We have been actively developing our integrated education solutions business with the motto of "students first".
We aim to become a leading company that provides educational methods not only for studying for exams, but also for lifelong learning.

The Challenge
Jonan Shingaku Kenkyusha has developed Decitas, an online learning software for elementary and junior high school students. Students can learn by watching class videos and solving exercises using a computer or tablet.
It is a web-based learning system akin to home schooling in western countries.
Lately, students who fall behind or who don't want to attend school are likely to increase. Dekitas can cover the contents students couldn’t understand through individual learning plans.
We participated in a collaboration project organized by the Ministry of Economy and it proves the effectiveness of cooperating with Yokohama City
However, we also think we should further improve education outcomes for students, their parents and teachers. For example, it would be better if we remove the reason students don’t want to attend school. Not only for these students are to gain when we are able to create unconventional educations
